Devin Singletary capable of being "the workload guy"
Buffalo Bills General Manager Brandon Beane said that Devin Singletary could be a workload running back if they want him to be.
Beane said that he believes that "year two will be better" for Singletary, and "if we want him to be the workload guy, he definitely could do it". He also mentioned that he is always interested in bringing in competition if the "right guy" is available. Singletary handled 164 carries last season (45.4% of the team total), leaving plenty of room for growth in his role.
Singletary had a rush success rate of 41.46% last season, 28th among running backs with at least 50 attempts. He received a run grade of 74.9 from Pro Football Focus, 25th in the league.
