Fowler: Cam Newton reportedly 'willing to stay patient'
According to Jeremy Fowler, free agent quarterback Cam Newton is "willing to stay patient, possibly until after draft and beyond to find right fit."
With the NFL's current situation, Newton's main issues in free agency mostly revolve around his unknown health status and a lack of availability for potential physicals or workouts. Expect this year's quarterback draft class to play a huge factor in determining the 31-year old's next potential team or suitor.
On 2,057 career pass attempts, Newton has completed 1,227 completions for 14,615 yards and a 4.9% Touchdown Rate.
