The Browns have not had talks about trading Odell Beckham Jr.
Adam Schefter reports that despite a recent rumor about the Cleveland Browns trading Odell Beckham Jr., the team has had no talks about doing so.
While there always seems to be some drama circulating around Beckham, Schefter's report is in line with what the team's chief strategy officer Paul DePodesta claimed earlier this week, as well as with what reason would dictate. Beckham is an elite pass catcher when healthy, and trading him would leave the Browns quite thin at receiver.
2019 was definitely a down year for Beckham, who notched a career-low 64.7 yards per game. In his defense, it was a down year for Browns players across the board with Freddie Kitchens calling the plays. Beckham also successfully underwent surgery this offseason to repair the core muscle injury he powered through for most of last year.
