Takk McKinley (shoulder) expected to make full recovery
Atlanta Falcons edge defender Takk McKinley is expected to make a full recovery from January shoulder surgery, per head coach Dan Quinn.
McKinley missed the final two games last season and finished with a career-low 3.5 sacks. He's recorded 7 tackles for loss all three of his years in the league. The 24-year-old is expected to start on the Falcons' front opposite offseason acquisition Dante Fowler.
McKinley was Pro Football Focus' 41st-graded edge defender last season out of 66 players at the position with at least 500 defensive snaps. The 2017 first-rounder has received a defensive grade below 70.0 each season he's played.
