49ers actively discussing a trade involving Marquise Goodwin
Per San Francisco 49ers general manager John Lynch, the team is in active talks about trading wide receiver Marquise Goodwin.
Goodwin hasn't been very productive over the past two seasons, but did total 962 receiving yards in his first year with the team and offers literal olympic-level speed. The NFL is obviously on the lookout for that kind of speed after watching the lightning-quick Kansas City Chiefs win the Super Bowl in February.
It would make sense that teams are interested in Goodwin, especially considering the league's apparent infatuation with incoming rookie speedster Henry Ruggs. Goodwin has struggled to stay on the field over the past two seasons, but offers 4.27 wheels to anyone willing to take a chance on him.
