Lions snag Jeff Okudah at No. 3 overall
The Detroit Lions have selected defensive back Jeff Okudah with the No. 3 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
The Lions were a prime candidate to trade down for additional picks, but Matt Patricia's squad ultimately decided to stay put and get their cornerback. After trading away Darius Slay to the Philadelphia Eagles in March for a pair of draft picks, a spot opened up in the secondary. And Okudah could step in as the No. 1 option on the outside immediately.
In 13 games last season, Okudah racked up 28 tackles and 3 interceptions while also defending 9 passes.
