CJ Henderson heads to Jacksonville with No. 9 pick
The Jacksonville Jaguars have selected Florida cornerback CJ Henderson with the No. 9 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
The Jaguars traded away All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey midway through last season, and they now get their replacement on the outside. Jacksonville had a middling pass defense a year ago, having allowed 3,778 yards to place 16th in the league. However, they gave up a whopping 7.9 yards per attempt, which ranked 27th.
In nine games with the Gators in 2019, Henderson had 33 tackles and 11 passes defended.
