Denver adds tight end Albert Okwuegbunam with No. 118 pick
The Denver Broncos have selected Missouri tight end Albert Okwuegbunam with the No. 118 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
The Broncos seem committed to surrounding second-year quarterback Drew Lock with as many weapons as possible, as they've taken yet another pass catcher in this draft class. Okwuegbunam, a teammate of Lock in 2017 and 2018, will slot in behind Noah Fant on the depth chart, and his 4.49 40-yard dash time could get him on the field early as a rookie.
Okwuegbunam caught 26 passes for 306 yards with six touchdowns in 2019.
