Dalvin Cook reportedly planning to virtually participate with Vikings
Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook plans to participate in the team's virtual voluntary offseason program, reports NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
The Vikings didn't add any running backs in the draft, setting Cook up for another workhorse campaign in the final year of his rookie deal. Cook has already missed 19-of-48 contests in his career due to injuries, but he's proven to be one of the best players at his position when healthy. The former second-round pick was one of only two players last season (Christian McCaffrey) to total least 1,000 rushing yards and 500 receiving yards with an average of 4.5 yards per carry. Cook will turn 25 in August.
Cook averaged 19.0 FanDuel points (RB3) and 118.1 offensive yards over 14 games while totaling 13 touchdowns. His 5.5 yards per touch was fourth-most among the 20 running backs with 200-plus touches. Cook also added the fourth-most Rushing Net Expected Points per play in that same group.
