Devontae Booker

Raiders sign Devontae Booker

The Las Vegas Raiders have agreed to a deal with running back Devontae Booker, formerly of the Denver Broncos, pending a physical.

What It Means:

A fourth-round draft pick in 2016, Booker has spent his entire career with the Broncos, totaling 289 attempts for 1,103 yards, 6 touchdowns, and 7 fumbles over four seasons. The 27-year-old will join a Raiders backfield lead by sophomore Josh Jacobs and pass-catching specialist Jalen Richard. While Booker's volume is unlikely to increase, his addition could further dampen Josh Jacobs's path to being a true three-down back.

Booker earned a receiving grade of 63.6 from Pro Football Focus last season, after catching 6 of 9 targets for 57 yards, good for 57th at his position. In his last full season in 2018, Booker earned a grade of 67.2, 48th among all running backs.
