Arrest warrants issued for Giants' DeAndre Baker and Seahawks' Quinton Dunbar
Arrest warrants have been issued for cornerbacks DeAndre Baker and Quinton Dunbar of the New York Giants and Seattle Seahawks, respectively, according to the Miramar Police Department.
Baker is being charged with four counts of armed robbery and four counts of aggravated assault with a firearm, while Dunbar is receiving just charges of robbery. According to TMZ, the pair and a third individual held up a cookout after an argument ensued, and they escaped with thousands of dollars of cash and jewelry. The Giants released a statement saying, "“We are aware of the situation. We have been in contact with DeAndre. We have no further comment at this time.” The Seahawks are yet to respond to the news.
In 16 games as a rookie last season, Baker had 58 tackles and 8 pass defenses. Dunbar, playing for the Redskins, had 34 tackles, 8 pass defenses and 4 interceptions in just 11 games played.
