Dolphins waive running back De'Lance Turner
The Miami Dolphins have waived running back De'Lance Turner.
Even on a barren running back depth chart, Turner compiled just 4 carries in the 2019 season. His departure does not move the needle much for Jordan Howard or Matt Breida, but does open up another spot at the back of the roster for the team's other backs.
The Dolphins running backs were hardly usable for fantasy in 2019, but Howard and Breida could change that in 2020 behind a rebuilt offensive line. numberFire projects the two backs to score a combined 219.84 fantasy points this season, which could become significant if one of the two can consolidate that total opportunity.
