Dallas reportedly offers Dak Prescott second-most money

The Dallas Cowboys offered a contract to quarterback Dak Prescott that would make him the league's second-highest-paid quarterback annually, reports Todd Archer of ESPN.

What It Means:

The deal is worth a little less annually than Russell Wilson's ($35 million) and includes guaranteed money that compares to Jared Goff's ($110 million). The two sides have until July 15 to agree on a long-term deal. Prescott, who turns 27 this summer, threw for 4,902 passing yards last season, good for second-most in the league and just one yard short of the Cowboys franchise record. He also threw the fourth-most touchdowns (30) in the NFL last season.

Dak is the third-highest ranked player in numberFire's preseason fantasy rankings. Our models project him for 4,495.4 yards, 30.1 touchdowns, and 10.4 interceptions with another 254.5 yards and 3.7 touchdowns on the ground.
