Tim Jernigan becomes a free agent after deal with Texans falls through
According to Instagram and Aaron Wilson, defensive tackle Tim Jernigan is a free agent after his physical was not passed and his contract was not processed.
Jernigan is once again a free agent after his verbal agreement with the Texans fell through due to a failed physical. Expect the veteran to latch on with another team as a part-time or rotational player.
In nine starts last season, Jernigan recorded 2 total sacks, 3 tackles for a loss, and 3 quarterback hits.
