Todd Gurley reportedly passes Falcons' physical
Atlanta Falcons running back Todd Gurley passed his physical with the team on Monday, reports Adam Schefter of ESPN.
Gurley was finally able to fly to Atlanta and take his physical nearly two months after signing with the Falcons. He could potentially see around 15 touches a game as the Falcons' lead back, but Gurley's chronic knee problems remain a concern. He averaged a four-year low 4.2 yards per touch on a career-low 16.9 touches per game last year for the Los Angeles Rams. That ranked fifth-worst out of 27 running backs with at least 200 touches.
numberFire's models project Gurley for 204.4 carries, 909.9 rushing yards, 44.5 catches (62.8 targets), 372.5 receiving yards, and 11.5 touchdowns this season. He's the RB13 in our preseason fantasy rankings.
