Eagles' Dallas Goedert briefly hospitalized
Philadelphia Eagles tight end Dallas Goedert was briefly hospitalized Friday night after being sucker punched at a restaurant.
Goedert is thankfully fine and was able to leave the hospital that night. It's unclear what exactly happened during the altercation, but a suspect has reportedly been arrested. Goedert should be totally healthy heading into the 2020 season.
Despite operating as the Eagles' second tight end on game days, Goedert still finished second on the team in all receiving categories in 2019 with 58 catches for 607 yards and 5 scores. numberFire currently projects the third-year tight end to finish as the TE17 in fantasy in 2020 with 52.5 receptions for 505.6 yards and 4.67 touchdowns.
