Kareem Hunt keen on staying in Cleveland
Cleveland Browns running back Kareem Hunt told reporters he wants to sign an extension with the team.
“I’d definitely like to be a part of something like this,” he said. “Everybody is here that I care about. I know everybody in the whole town. I would not mind playing for the Browns for a long time.” Hunt is currently set to play 2020 on a one-year tender worth $3.3 million. He missed the first eight games last season due to a suspension, but Hunt immediately became a factor in the passing game, averaging 5.5 targets and 35.6 receiving yards over the final eight contests. He added 44 rush attempts for 171 yards (3.9 per attempt) and 2 touchdowns, combining for an average of 10.1 touches per game. Hunt is expected to play a similar role this upcoming season.
numberFire's models project Hunt for 112.4 carries, 505.9 rushing yards, 51.3 receptions (72.0 targets), 445.6 receiving yards, and 6.9 touchdowns. He's the RB29 in our preseason fantasy rankings.
