"It's the best I've seen Terry, and I've known Terry since I was a freshman in college," praised Haskins, McLaurin's former college teammate at Ohio State. McLaurin immediately emerged as Washington's number-one receiver last season, leading the team with 58 receptions for 919 yards and 7 touchdowns on 93 targets. His chance at a 1,000-yard rookie year was spoiled by a concussion that caused McLaurin to miss Week 17. McLaurin will be able to put up even bigger numbers in Year 2 if Haskins shows improvement under center.
