He already signed the tag, which means there is no threat of a hold out if a long term deal doesn't get done before the deadline. There is no extension "on the verge" of happening, but there is a possibility that talks accelerate as the two sides look to agree to a deal that keeps Henry in Tennessee for the long term. Henry earned Pro Football Focus' 13th highest rushing grade last season and finished with the fourth-highest elusive rating in the league (min 152 attempts).
