Falcons' A.J. Terrell (COVID-19) ruled out for Week 3, Atlanta to begin contact tracing
Atlanta Falcons defensive back A.J. Terrell has been ruled out for Week 3's game against the Chicago Bears after testing positive for COVID-19, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. He has been placed on the reserve COVID list.
Terrell's positive result came from a test taken on Friday morning, and the Falcons received the news on Saturday. Terrell practiced on Friday, and the team has begun contact tracing, per league protocols. At this point, the Falcons have not received any other positive test results.
The Falcons are 3.5-point favorites over the Chicago Bears in Week 3. Their implied team total of 25.25 points is the ninth-highest implied team total on Sunday's main slate, according to numberFire's DFS Heat Map.
