Panthers' Reggie Bonnafon promoted to active roster
Carolina Panthers running back Reggie Bonnafon has been called up to the active roster from the practice squad.
With running back Christian McCaffrey sidelined with an ankle injury, the Panthers protected Bonnafon so he couldn't be snatched up by other teams. That led to his promotion for Sunday's Week 3 game against the Los Angeles Chargers, where he'll be expected to back up presumed starter Mike Davis.
Our models currently project Bonnafon for 29.8 rushing yards, 0.2 touchdowns, 5.8 receiving yards and 5.4 FanDuel points.
