Chargers' Tyrod Taylor (chest) officially ruled out for Week 4's game against Tampa Bay
Los Angeles Chargers quarterback Tyrod Taylor has been ruled out for Week 4's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a chest injury.
As expected, Taylor has been downgraded to out and will miss Week 4's game against the Buccaneers. Anthony Lynn refused to rule out Taylor earlier in the week, but this was always the expected outcome for his availability on Sunday. With Taylor sidelined, Justin Herbert will start against a Tampa Bay defense ranked 2nd against quarterbacks in numberFire's advanced stats.
Herbert's Week 4 projection includes 239.6 passing yards, 1.13 passing touchdowns, 0.9 interceptions, and 14.8 FanDuel points. His salary is $6,700 and he is the QB27 in our Week 4 rankings.
