Chris Godwin (hamstring) still not practicing for Buccaneers
Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Chris Godwin (hamstring) did not practice on Tuesday.
Godwin hasn't practiced since pulling his hammy in Week 3. The Buccaneers also held out Mike Evans (ankle), Scotty Miller (hip/groin), and Justin Watson (chest) on Tuesday, but that's likely more maintenance-related with the Buccaneers playing on a short week. Godwin could be headed for a second consecutive absence in Week 5 when Tampa Bay visits the Chicago Bears on Thursday night.
Ronald Jones actually led the Buccaneers with a 20.0 percent target share in Week 4 without Godwin available. Miller (15.6%) was third behind Evans while Watson and O.J. Howard tied at 13.3% each. Godwin has a salary of $12,500 on FanDuel for Thursday's slate. Per numberFire's advanced metrics, the Bears rank 10th against the pass but only 27th against the run, so the Buccaneers may opt to lean more on their ground game Thursday night.
