Raiders' Maurice Hurst placed on reserve/COVID-19 list on Tuesday
Las Vegas Raiders defensive lineman Maurice Hurst was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list on Tuesday.
Hurst played 35 snaps for the Raiders in their Week 4 loss to the Buffalo Bills, 34 on the defensive line, and one on special teams. He is Pro Football Focus' fourth-highest graded defensive lineman through four games this season, one spot above the Rams' Aaron Donald. Hurst wasn't a full-time player, but he was an effective one, and his loss is a tough one for the Raiders with the Kansas City Chiefs up next in Week 5. The positive reportedly came from a test he took on Monday morning. Stay tuned.
The Raiders are 12.5-point underdogs against the Chiefs in Week 5. Their implied team total of 22.0 points is the eighth-lowest team total on Sunday's main slate, according to numberFire's DFS Heat Map.
