Le'Veon Bell (hamstring) could play for Jets on Sunday

New York Jets running back Le'Veon Bell (hamstring) could be activated for Sunday's Week 5 game against the Arizona Cardinals, per head coach Adam Gase.

What It Means:

Bell returned to practice this week after being sidelined since the opener. "I think he feels better even than he did for that first game," Gase said of Bell. "I think he feels like his body is in a good place." Bell should have a plus matchup in Week 5 but Joe Flacco starting may negate that. Josh Adams and Frank Gore have been splitting backfield work in place of Bell.

Bell scored 5.6 FanDuel points and handled 8 touches for 46 yards on a 66.0 snap share in the Jets' first game. The Cardinals have the 26th overall defense and 16th rush defense in numberFire's advanced models. Bell has been the Jets' least efficient back this season in terms of Rushing Net Expected Points per carry.
