Broncos' Drew Lock (shoulder) questionable for Monday's Week 5
Denver Broncos quarterback Drew Lock is considered questionable to play Monday in the team's Week 5 game against the New England Patriots.
Lock is dealing with a shoulder injury, which has caused him to miss the last two and a half games. The game being pushed back to Monday because of COVID-19 gives the second-year passer an extra day to heal up. If he's held out again, Brett Rypien would be in line for another start under center.
Unsurprisingly, New England's pass defense has been elite through 4 weeks this season. The unit ranks second in the NFL in adjusted net expected points allowed per pass play, actually *gaining* 0.05 points per dropback.
