Jets' Breshad Perriman (ankle) ruled out for Week 5
New York Jets wide receiver Breshad Perriman will not play Sunday in the team's Week 5 game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Perriman wasn't expected to play as he continues to recover from an ankle sprain, and now he'll miss his third straight contest. Quarterback Sam Darnold is also sidelined with an injury, so Joe Flacco will be throwing to Jamison Crowder and Chris Hogan out wide.
The Cardinals have been average defensively against the pass so far this season, ranking 17th in the NFL in adjusted net expected points allowed per pass play.
