Update: Panthers' Curtis Samuel (knee) ruled out for Week 6
Carolina Panthers wide receiver Curtis Samuel will not play Sunday in the team's Week 6 game against the Chicago Bears.
What It Means:
It was reported by ESPN earlier Sunday that Samuel was expected to suit up in spite of his knee injury, but it seems as though the team is erring on the side of caution when it comes to the versatile offensive weapon. Seth Roberts and/or Pharoh Cooper should fit into three-wide sets.
Chicago's secondary has been pretty solid through 5 weeks, ranking 12th in the NFL in adjusted net expected points allowed per pass play.
