Titans' Jonnu Smith dealing with "minor" ankle injury
Adam Schefter reports that Tennessee Titans tight end Jonnu Smith is dealing with a "minor" ankle injury and is expected to have a questionable designation for the team's Week 7 game.
Smith was ruled out relatively quickly after suffering the injury during the team's Week 6 win over the Houston Texans, so it's a relief that the injury is only considered minor. Don't expect Smith to practice much ahead of the team's upcoming game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Smith finished the team's decisive Week 6 victory with just 1 reception for 13 yards on 2 targets while playing on 39% of the team's snaps. If he is able to play, Smith is one of the team's most explosive receiving threats and is a threat to score even with a limited workload.
