Aaron Jones (calf) still sidelined for Packers
Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones (calf) remained sidelined at Wednesday's practice.
Jones may be headed for a second consecutive absence in Week 8 when the Packers play the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday. Jamaal Williams stepped in as the lead back last week and rushed 19 times for 77 yards and a touchdown while also catching 4 passes (5 targets) for 37 yards. He handled 79.2 percent of the team's running back carries and was the only back to draw a target.
Williams played 88.7 percent of the offensive snaps and scored 19.4 FanDuel points in Week 7 as the Packers' lead back. The Vikings have the No. 17 rushing defense in numberFire's advanced team rankings.
