Patriots' Julian Edelman (knee) officially placed on injured reserve
New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman has been placed on injured reserve with a knee injury.
Edelman was expected to go on injured reserve, so this comes as no surprise. He'll miss a minimum of three games, leaving his earliest return date at Week 11. With Edelman on the shelf, the Patriots' wide receiver group will be led by Jakobi Meyers and Damiere Byrd with N'Keal Harry out due to a concussion.
Our models project Edelman for 27.10 catches on 46.54 targets for 329.63 receiving yards and 1.79 touchdowns going forward this season.
