49ers activate four players off the reserve/COVID-19 list on Friday
The San Francisco 49ers activated four players off the reserve/COVID-19 list on Friday.
What It Means:
Wide receivers Brandon Aiyuk, Kendrick Bourne, Deebo Samuel, and tackle Trent Williams were all activated. Bourne and his teammates were placed on the list earlier this week after he tested positive for COVID-19 on Wednesday. A follow-up test on Thursday revealed that Wednesday's result was a false positive, allowing all four players to be activated today.
