Shanahan: Tevin Coleman (knee) likely out for 49ers in Week 10
San Francisco 49ers running back Tevin Coleman will most likely miss Sunday's Week 10 game against the New Orleans Saints.
Coleman is still not practicing as he deals with a knee injury, and head coach Kyle Shanahan says he's not likely to recover in time to play this coming Sunday. The 49ers are on a bye in Week 11, so that will give Coleman even more time to prepare to play against the Los Angeles Rams the following week. For now, Jerick McKinnon and JaMycal Hasty will lead the way in the backfield.
Through Week 9, the Saints rank 13th in the NFL in adjusted net expected points allowed per run play.
