Laviska Shenault (hamstring) ruled out for Jaguars versus Packers
Jacksonville Jaguars rookie wide receiver Laviska Shenault (hamstring) has been ruled out for Sunday's Week 10 game against the Green Bay Packers.
Shenault was able to get in some limited reps at practice this week but the Jaguars have decided to hold out their young receiver. Head coach Doug Marrone said Chris Conley will step into Shenault's role on Sunday. D.J. Chark and Keelan Cole could also see expanded roles. The Packers are expected to be without No. 1 corner Jaire Alexander (concussion).
Chark led the Jaguars with a 31.5 percent target share last week in Jake Luton's NFL debut. He erupted for 146 yards after averaging 49.0 yards per game with Gardner Minshew (finger) under center. Conley stepped up with a season-high 7 catches on 8 targets for 52 yards after Shenault left early. Alexander has earned Pro Football Focus' top coverage grade (89.9) among all cornerbacks this season, so his absence would be a boon for the entire offense.
