Deebo Samuel (hamstring) inactive for 49ers again Week 10
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Deebo Samuel (hamstring) will not play Week 10 against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.
Samuel hasn't played since Week 7. Brandon Aiyuk caught 8 passes on 10 targets for 91 yards and a touchdown in Week 8 with Samuel sidelined before missing last game due to COVID-19 concerns. Richie James is expected to join Aiyuk and Kendrick Bourne in the 49ers' wide receiver rotation after he erupted for 9 catches on 13 targets with 184 yards and a touchdown last Thursday night.
Aiyuk is the top-ranked 49ers wide receiver in numberFire's Week 10 fantasy rankings. Our models project him for 6.4 targets and 10.0 FanDuel points. The first-round pick has a salary of $6,500 on the main slate. The Saints own the No. 10 pass defense in the league, per numberFire's advanced team rankings.
