Dolphins' Matt Breida (hamstring) not expected to play Week 10
The Miami Dolphins do not expect Matt Breida (hamstring) to suit up for the team's Week 10 game against the Los Angeles Chargers, Adam Schefter reports.
Schefter added that Breida "has a good chance" to return in Week 11. Even when healthy, Breida hasn't played up to the standards he set while playing for the San Francisco 49ers in previous years, falling behind Miles Gaskin on the team's depth chart.
Breida's absence means the Dolphins will trot out another muddled backfield featuring a combination of Jordan Howard, Patrick Laird, and Salvon Ahmed. The Chargers have allowed just 4 rushing touchdowns to running backs all seasons, so this is likely a running back situation to avoid in Week 10.
