Ravens' J.K. Dobbins tests positive for COVID-19, out Thanksgiving versus Steelers

Baltimore Ravens rookie running back J.K. Dobbins have tested positive for COVID-19 and will be placed on the reserve list, reports Mike Garafolo of NFL Network.

What It Means:

Dobbins and Mark Ingram have both tested positive and will not be available for Thursday night's Week 12 matchup with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Gus Edwards will likely take over as the Ravens' lead back in the divisional matchup and Justice Hill also figures to be more involved. Baltimore may also elect to promote Ty'Son Williams from the practice squad. Dobbins emerged as the Ravens' lead back in Week 11 with a 63.1 percent offensive snap share and 75.0 percent of the running back carries.

Edwards averaged 5.4 yards per carry against the Steelers in Week 8, rushing 16 times for 87 yards and a touchdown for a season-high 14.7 FanDuel points. He only played 31.7 percent of the Ravens' offensive snaps in that contest and should be even more involved in Week 12. The Steelers are allowing the second-fewest FanDuel points per game to the running back position this season.
