Panthers: Christian McCaffrey (shoulder) still week-to-week
Carolina Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey (shoulder) is still considered week-to-week, per head coach Matt Rhule.
The Panthers play the Minnesota Vikings in Week 12 and then go on bye, so there's a strong possibility that McCaffrey is held out until at least Week 14 versus the Denver Broncos. Mike Davis will continue filling in as the Panthers' lead back in the meantime. He gained 79 yards and a touchdown on 15 touches in Sunday's win over the Detroit Lions following an injury-impeded Week 10.
Davis put up 14.9 FanDuel points in Week 11 and earned a top-10 rushing grade (75.8) from Pro Football Focus among all running backs this week. He's averaging 4.5 catches per game heading into a matchup against a Vikings defense allowing the 11th-most catches to the running back position this season.
