Lions' D'Andre Swift (concussion) unlikely to play against Texans on Thanksgiving
Detroit Lions running back D'Andre Swift (concussion) is "unlikely" to play in Week 12's game against the Houston Texans on Thanksgiving, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.
Swift entered the day listed as questionable, but it appears he will not be cleared in time to play on Thanksgiving. Swift returned to practice on Tuesday but is only about a week removed from a concussion he suffered leading into Week 11. If Swift is ruled out, the Lions will be incredibly shorthanded on offense for the second week in a row. They will turn to a combination of Adrian Peterson and Kerryon Johnson against a Texans defense ranked 31st against running backs in numberFire's advanced stats.
The Lions are 3.0-point underdogs against the Houston Texans on Thanksgiving. Their implied team total of 24.25 points is the second-lowest team total on Thursday's two-game slate, according to numberFire's DFS Heat Map.
