Bengals' Gio Bernard (concussion) clears protocol, active for Week 12 against New York
Cincinnati Bengals running back Gio Bernard will play Sunday in the team's Week 12 game against the New York Giants.
Bernard was considered questionable to play as he recovers from a concussion, but it was reported earlier on game day that the veteran rusher was expected to suit up. With Joe Mixon on injured reserve due to a foot ailment, Bernard will get the vast majority of backfield work. Samaje Perine will act as his backup.
Our models project Bernard for 62.6 rushing yards, 25.0 receiving yards, 0.5 total touchdowns and 13.4 FanDuel points.
