D'Andre Swift (illness) practicing for Lions Wednesday
Detroit Lions running back D'Andre Swift (illness) is practicing Wednesday.
Swift cleared the concussion protocol last week but was held out on gameday with a non-COVID-19 illness. If he's cleared for Sunday's Week 14 game against the Green Bay Packers, it's possible the Lions may limit the rookie's reps after a three-game absence. Adrian Peterson had at least 15 carries and scored a pair of touchdowns in each of the last two games. Kerryon Johnson has also been more involved with Swift sidelined.
Swift averaged 18.5 touches 17.3 FanDuel points in his last two contests. The Packers are a bit of a run-funnel defense, as they rank in the top half of the league against the pass in numberFire's efficiency rankings, but just 28th versus the run. They are allowing the third-most FanDuel points per game to the running back position this season.
