Panthers planning on Christian McCaffrey (thigh) playing again
Carolina Panthers head coach Matt Rhule said he planned on running back Christian McCaffrey (thigh) playing again in 2020.
What It Means:
The Panthers are out of playoff contention, so it would be understandable if they hold out McCaffrey for the remainder of the year. Mike Davis will likely continue working in a three-down role in Week 15 against the Green Bay Packers. He rushed 11 times for 51 yards and 2 touchdowns, and caught 5 passes (6 targets) for 42 yards, in the Panthers' Week 14 loss to the Denver Broncos.
