Schefter: Keenan Allen (hamstring) likely limited for Chargers if active Thursday
Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Keenan Allen (hamstring) will likely be limited if he's active for Thursday night's Week 15 matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders, reports Adam Schefter of ESPN.
The Chargers are "concerned" that Allen will not be available for Thursday's matchup. Mike Williams (back) is also not expected to play, meaning Justin Herbert will have Tyron Johnson and Jalen Guyton as his starting wide receivers. Hunter Henry and Austin Ekeler could also both see spikes in target share against a Raiders secondary that ranks in the bottom-10 in yards allowed per game.
Over the last three weeks, since Ekeler returned from injured reserve, Allen has led the Chargers with a 21.7 percent target share. Ekeler is second at 21.0 percent and Henry is third at 14.5 percent. The Raiders are allowing the 12th-most FanDuel points per game to the wide receiver position this season. Johnson is adding the most Reception Net Expected Points per target this season among all players with at least 15 targets.
