Football Teams adds Lamar Miller to active roster
The Washington Football Team signed running back Lamar Miller off the practice squad.
What It Means:
Antonio Gibson (toe) worked on the side at Thursday's practice, but the signing suggests he will miss at least another week. Miller appeared in one game for the Chicago Bears earlier this year after sitting out all of last season. The 29-year-old back could potentially take some touches from Peyton Barber and J.D. McKissic if he's active for Sunday's Week 15 game against the Seattle Seahawks.
Miller averaged 4.8 yards on 235 touches for the Houston Texans back in 2018. Per FanDuel Sportsbook, the Football Team are currently a 5.5-point underdog against the Seahawks.
