Falcons' Julio Jones (hamstring) gets PRP injection, could return for final 2 games
Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones received a platelet-rich plasma injection in his bad hamstring, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport.
Jones' season has been derailed completely by the hamstring injury, which has now cost him five and a half games, including this Sunday's tilt against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Falcons have been eliminated from postseason contention, but it seems as Jones is doing everything he can to suit up for the final couple weeks of the regular season. We'll see if this PRP injection allows him to suit up in Sunday's Week 16 contest against the Kansas City Chiefs.
In 9 appearances this season, Jones has 51 catches for 771 yards and 3 touchdowns.
