New York Giants wide receiver Golden Tate (calf) did not practice on Thursday.
What It Means:
Tate's downgrade is concerning after the veteran receiver was forced to leave Wednesday's practice with a calf injury. Expect Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton to play increased roles in Week 16's contest against the Baltimore Ravens if Tate is inactive.
Shepard's current Week 16 projection includes 4.5 receptions for 44.0 yards on 7.0 targets while Slayton's expectation stands at 3.9 receptions for 53.3 yards on 6.7 targets.
