Chiefs' Le'Veon Bell (knee) expected to take back seat to Darwin Thompson in Week 17
Kansas City Chiefs running back Le'Veon Bell (knee) is expected to play in today's game against the Los Angeles Chargers, but is expected to play behind teammate Darwin Thompson.
Bell banged up his knee in the Chiefs' Week 16 victory over the Miami Dolphins, and while he is expected to play in today's game against the Chargers, he will reportedly play behind teammate Darwin Thompson while he rests his knee. The Chiefs are resting a handful of their starters in today's game, and the Chiefs likely won't want to risk Bell unnecessarily with Clyde Edwards-Helaire (ankle) banged up as well.
Our models project Thompson to score 6.7 fantasy points in today's game without Patrick Mahomes at the helm. FanDuel has set his salary at $4,500.
