Washington's Alex Smith (calf) estimated DNP on Tuesday
Washington Football Team quarterback Alex Smith (calf) did not practice on Tuesday ahead of Saturday's Wild Card clash with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Smith continues to deal with a calf injury that appeared to limit him in Week 17's win over the Philadelphia Eagles. Antonio Gibson (toe) and Terry McLaurin (ankle) were also estimated DNPs on Tuesday. After Tuesday's walkthrough practice, Wednesday's participation will be important for Washington's trio of starters. If Smith is ruled out, Taylor Heinicke would be under center for Washington.
The Football Team are 8.5-point underdogs against the Buccaneers on Saturday. Their implied team total of 18.5 points is the lowest team total on Saturday's three-game main slate, according to numberFire's DFS Heat Map.
