Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes dealing with turf toe
Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes is currently dealing with turf toe and could require surgery in the offseason, Ian Rapoport reports.
Mahomes strained his toe in last week's game against the Cleveland Browns before eventually leaving with his scary head injury, and while the star quarterback has been cleared from the concussion protocol, his toe is a "legitimate issue" according to Rapoport. He was able to play through the injury during last week's game and will likely continue to play on the injury with another championship on the line.
Mahomes' toe injury could affect his mobility in today's game, but fortunately the Bills have had a below-average pass-rush, so hopefully he'll be able to sit comfortably in the pocket. Our models currently project Mahomes to score 22.9 fantasy points in today's game.
