Miami's Jaylen Waddle a "quick learner"
Miami Dolphins wide receiver DeVante Parker noted that new teammate and 2021 NFL Draft first-round pick Jaylen Waddle is "a quick learner."
"He listens to what we have to say. You coach him up and he listens to you," Parker told reporters about teammate Jaylen Waddle. As the Dolphins kick off their first preseason regimen, Waddle has been seen fielding punts in addition to traditional receiving work.
Waddle will have a crowded depth chart to compete with in Miami this season between Parker and free agent signing Will Fuller, but the Dolphins will likely feel compelled to get the sixth-overall pick on the field. Our models currently project him for 63 catches on 97 targets for 734 yards and 5 scores in 2021.
